Core Drilling

A-Core drilling is one of the many services that A-Core offers. With the country’s largest supply of diamond core drill bits, A-Core is qualified and properly equipped to handle concrete drilling projects of any size. A-Core can drill concrete holes as small as 3/4” up to 73” in diameter and any depth.

Deep Drilling

Deep Drilling is the process of Core Drilling but, drilling to any depth. A standard Core Drill Bit has a max drill depth of about 14”. Deep drilling requires core drill tubing. This tubing, typically has lengths of 48” and is threaded at each end. This allows us to drill to any depth with most standard diameters. We have drilled 20’, 30’, 60’, and deeper using this method. We will use hydraulic or 480V powered core drills with custom core drill posts to achieve such depths.

Tenant Improvements

A Tenant Improvement (T.I.) occurs when an existing structure, undergoes a remodel or a new tenant moves into that building. On most T.I. projects, the demolition scope is the first phase to get the project started. A-Core offers services to provide soft and heavy demolition, Cutting in new doorways and windows, cutting plumbing or electrical trenches in the slab, core drilling through walls for plumbing and electrical conduits, GPR Scanning if surfaces being penetrated may have anomalies which cannot be cut, and much more to get any project started.

Seismic Renovations

Seismic Renovations typically require concrete cutting services. Our knowledge and experience, allow us to assist in getting any structure safe during an earthquake. Wire Saws, Deep Core Drilling, and wall saws, are some of the tools we have to get an older structure up to code and safe.

Complex Angles

Core Drilling may not always be straight through a wall or vertically through a slab. Some Projects require holes to be drilled at almost any angle. With a little math and some ingenuity, A-Core has the ability to drill compound or complex angles at any depth or diameter.
